He is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (USA) with over 10 years of experience advising clients on complex tax, regulatory, and cross-border matters. He actively works with foreign promoters to establish and structure business entities in India, design acquisition frameworks, and create value-preserving structures for long-term growth.

He has extensive experience in providing tax and regulatory advisory services to NBFCs, Small Finance Banks, and financial intermediaries regulated by SEBI and RBI. His expertise includes handling regulatory matters such as post-facto approvals, compounding of offences under FEMA, and compliance with applicable regulations.

He regularly assists financial intermediaries in organisational restructuring by securing necessary approvals from SEBI and is closely involved in setting up AIFs (Category I, II & III), Investment Advisers, and Portfolio Managers with SEBI and GIFT IFSC, in coordination with legal professionals. He also supports applicants in obtaining NBFC licenses from RBI and conducts due diligence for acquisitions, takeovers, and change of control transactions. Additionally, he has experience in data centre audits for backend captive units processing data for overseas technology companies.
